Brian Sykes
Insomniac Studios Project Manager
Brian Sykes is a multidisciplinary artist who has dedicated his life to artist development and royalty collection education. He graduated from St. Xavier University with a B.A. in Graphic Design and also learned to sing classical music during his time there. From college, he would go on to be involved in a number of art shows throughout Chicago in facilities like the Beverly Art Center and the Museum of Contemporary Art. He then transitioned to music, landing songs on multiple Louder Than A Bomb mixtapes sponsored by Young Chicago Authors. Following this success, he created a Inspirational Hip Hop collective called The God Hour in 2016. As the group recorded, Brian began to dive deeper into studying how to collect royalties in an industry where many artists are taken advantage of. He developed a relationship with Insomniac Studios and partnered with them as a Project Manager teaching royalty collection, artist development and he also collaborated with artists on their projects. His goal is to cultivate more talented and business savvy artists who will manifest great success throughout their promising careers.
